These
Models will be restricted to a production run of 50. Each model will have
an individual Etch Plaque and etched spacer for chassis to itentify each
specific loco. If the two models are purchased in a pair then they will
be supplied with matching numbers. Nos 1-10 are reserved for Matching

Great Bear'

The first Pacific loco to be built in Great Britain,
The Great Bear was an engineering experiment in large boiler design. It
was an gigantic loco for the times and was the 'Pride of the GWR'. The
loco spent most of its time working between Paddington, Bristol &
Bath. The Bear was eventually converted into a Castle named 'Viscount
Churchill' in 1924.

The kit comes with the Large
8 wheeled Tender, It has Brass Loco and Tender
bodies with N/Silver chassises.
Castings in White Metal. This is an ideal
kit for builders to 'get their teeth into'. A handsome model when finished.

using most of the original except the Boiler, Cab. 'Viscount Chruchill'
ran with the 4 wheeled bear tender for many years and was used on mainline
services across the GWR,
